Whether we’re strolling along the beach, bathed in the soft glow of the evening light, capturing the fun of a surf lesson, or wandering through a cute Cornish fishing village, I won’t ask you to smile at the camera; instead, I’ll simply encourage natural connections and moments of tenderness. I want your photos to feel effortless, emotive and as real as you are.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you’re planning a photoshoot during your holiday in Cornwall,
booking early is key; reaching out as soon as you’ve secured your accommodation is advisable.

I know some beautiful spots and hidden gems across Cornwall that would be breathtaking backdrops for your photos. Some families also like to capture some moments in their holiday accommodation.

I always recommend neutral, earthy colours. Upon booking, you’ll receive a style guide, and I’m always on hand to help. But ultimately, choose outfits that are comfortable, reflect your personal style and make you feel amazing.

Sure! If you want an additional grandparent or two at your session, this is no problem; I ask for an extra £25 per additional adult outside of your immediate family.

While I wholeheartedly encourage embracing Cornish weather’s unpredictability, I’ll never insist on shooting in awful conditions. I limit my holiday sessions, avoid back-to-back bookings, and offer flexibility to adjust dates, ensuring your session is enjoyable and memorable.

I booked an evening shoot with Melanie for our first family holiday in Cornwall after I came across her photography on Instagram and found it to be extremely natural and beautiful. Melanie captured our family perfectly, and the end results, despite working with a toddler who wanted to toddle off and explore on their own, have been stunning family photos which we cherish. We will be booking in with Melanie on future trips as a family of four.
