I booked an evening shoot with Melanie for our first family holiday in Cornwall after I came across her photography on Instagram and found it to be extremely natural and beautiful. Melanie captured our family perfectly, and the end results have been stunning family photos which we cherish. We will be booking in with Melanie on future trips as a family of four.

Think of me as your personal tour guide. I’m on hand to help you choose a location that best helps your story unfold. I love nothing more than sharing my favourite places to eat, drink, and watch the sunset.
My favourite time to shoot is during golden hour—about 90 minutes before sunset or just after sunrise—when the light is soft and magical. Living in the UK, the weather can be pretty unpredictable. While I encourage embracing Cornwall’s ever-changing skies, your comfort and happiness are always my top priority. I like to stay optimistic; even the rainiest days can end with the most breathtaking skies. That said, I completely understand if you’d prefer to avoid getting wet, especially with little ones in tow, and I’m always happy to offer a reschedule.
To ensure you get the best experience, I limit my spring and summer bookings and avoid back-to-back sessions, allowing for greater flexibility during your stay.
So, settle in, let go of any worries, and allow yourselves to be fully present during your holiday without worrying about capturing it.
