This relaxed in-home family photoshoot in Cornwall was held on a typical afternoon. No plan. No timeline. Just going with the flow of what was already happening.

Recently, I had the joy of meeting Jade, Tom and their girls, along with Otto the dog, not long after they became a family of five. That tender “everything feels new but also somehow normal” season. The days are full, sometimes chaotic, often playful, always real.

We started at home, letting the girls lead. cuddles on the sofa, reading books, piggyback rides and jumping on the bed. Just a family loving each other. Ordinary moments that matter long after the moment is over.

After some time indoors, we wandered out for a scooter ride around their hometown of Bude. It had that nostalgic, almost cinematic feeling, candy-coloured houses, friendly hello’s from neighbours, sand in shoes, sea air, and the soft glow of sunset.
