Family Photos Constantine Bay Cornwall

Siobhan and I had been connected on Instagram since she became a mother. We’d chatted on and off over the years about getting together to capture her growing family, and this summer, it finally happened.

Now, a family of four is visiting North Cornwall, a place that means so much to them, and the stars aligned for us. The timing, the light, the season… it all came together in the best way.

July on the Cornish coast has a way of slowing us down. It invites us to soak it all in. The long, lingering evenings, the warmth in the dunes, and the soft golden light that settles over everything. This was one of those perfect evenings.

This session with Siobhan, Sam and their two little ones didn’t feel like a photoshoot at all, just time spent together by the sea. They ran barefoot across the sand, explored the dunes, and held onto each other in between. A session full of baby giggles, cheek kisses and little curls catching the last of the light.

These are the moments that matter. The ones that pass quickly, but hold so much meaning and sentiment. That’s what family photos are for. Not to make you look perfect, but to remember how this time felt. The connection, the chaos, the love that fills your days together.

It’s easy to see why Constantine Bay is a firm favourite with my families. A long stretch of golden sand, beautiful dunes and grasses, plenty of space to move and explore, giving families the chance to just be together, without pressure.

My approach to family photography is super simple; you don’t need much. Wear what feels like you, choose somewhere you love, and come as you are. Let the kids lead, let things unfold naturally, and I’ll capture it as it happens.

That’s always the goal. Honest, relaxed, and full of feeling.

This is what I’m here for. Spending a long summer evening with you, preserving your family as you are right now. Holding onto these days while your children are still this little. Because one day, this is what you’ll want to remember.
