As a 90s child, I’ve always loved family albums. I remember running my fingers over the thick leather covers, lifting the glossy pockets, and sometimes holding the album at the wrong angle and watching the photos slip out and scatter everywhere. But more than anything, I remember the feeling of them. Each photograph is a tangible story, where we’ve been, who we’ve loved, and where we belong. In fact, many of the moments I only remember because they were photographed, when memory alone would have let them fade with time.
It’s always been more than just photos to me; it’s about creating future nostalgia, heirlooms your children will return to again and again. Searching for themselves, and the love that shaped them.
I’ve never heard anyone regret having too many family photos. However, I often hear people wish they hadn’t waited so long, or missed the moment entirely. These chapters really do matter. Capture them now, just as they are – perfectly imperfect and forever yours.
