This gorgeous pair had just relocated when I had the absolute joy of photographing them for a maternity session here in Cornwall. There’s something truly eternal about this stage of life, a little surreal, a little sacred. This session brought the quiet wonder of growing a new life, from pregnancy to mother, to the surface for me. A before and an after, a true transformation, and it never stops being beautiful.
A Beautiful Transformation
Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, every pregnancy is its own unique journey. I’m always in awe of this chapter, of the strength, the tenderness, the anticipation. I love capturing you in this moment before your baby arrives and again in those first few weeks in your cosy, love-soaked newborn bubble. Tired, messy, magical – all of it.
I know that sometimes it can be hard to feel your best when you’re pregnant. Maybe you’re feeling swollen, exhausted, or just a bit fed up (you’re not alone, we’ve all been there). And it’s so easy to scroll through social media and compare your experience to beautifully curated images of others. But here’s the thing: I’ll meet you exactly where you are and make sure you feel beautiful- because you are. By the end of our session, I promise, you’ll feel like the goddess you are.

Taking time to document your pregnancy can feel like just another thing on the to-do list, but I can’t tell you how many people have told me they regret not doing it. A quick mirror selfie in your leggings doesn’t always do this incredible season justice.
